WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY (terms and conditions of on-line purchases)
- Warranty Term – Water Canopy LLC (dba: Summer Accents) warrants that its umbrellas shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship and shall be suitable for form, fit and function for one year from the date of purchase. The warranty includes Replacement of any non-functioning parts.
- Fulfillment – Umbrellas will be shipped via FedEx Ground and accessories may be shipped via either FedEx or USPS Priority Mail
SUMMER ACCENTS WARRANTY POLICY
- Summer Accents warrants that its umbrella and all mechanical parts related thereto (Product) shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship and shall be suitable for form, fit and function for one year from the date of purchase.
- Wind Damage – No damage caused by wind will be covered under the warranty. All customers are advised to exercise caution when having the umbrella open and are hereby advised to never leave the umbrella open and unattended due to the possibility of quickly changing weather and winds. The umbrella should be closed and strapped to the main pole when not in use or in the event of winds.
- In addition to the limitations set forth above, no warranty shall apply to any Product that has been: (i) modified, altered or adapted; (ii) maltreated or used in a manner other than in accordance with its intended purpose; (iii) repaired by a third party in a manner that fails to meet Summer Accents’ quality standards; (iv) improperly installed by any party (v) used directly or indirectly in supporting activities prohibited by the United States; (vi) purchased from any entity other than Summer Accents or authorized partners; (vii) affected by normal wear and tear; (vii) damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (ix) cosmetic damage including, but not limited to, scratches, dents and broken plastic, as applicable; and/or (x) damaged as a result of exposure to tobacco smoke/weather, terrorism, acts of God or failure to follow Summer Accents instructions.
- In no event shall Summer Accents be liable or responsible for the expense of removal or installation of defective Product, incidental, consequential or liquidated damages, or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee.
- This warranty does not cover any third-party products or hardware installed into, or attached to, the Product after the date of purchase.
- This warranty shall apply only to the Product purchased on-line for the original purchaser’s use and not for resale.
APPLICABLE LAW
- The Summer Accents website is operated by Water Canopy LLC out of South Carolina. As such the laws of South Carolina will govern these terms & conditions. Water Canopy LLC, (dba: Summer Accents) reserves the right to make changes to the site and the disclaimers, terms and conditions at any time.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All orders cancelled prior to shipping will result in a full refund. Once products are shipped our return policy will apply
RETURN POLICY
Please inspect your umbrella immediately upon receipt for shipping damages and notify Summer Accents immediately if there is damage. Return/refund will not be accepted for damage claims received past 14 days after delivery. Return Authorizations must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Summer Accents will not issue a Return Authorization if the request is received more than 30 days after delivery.
You must contact Summer Accents for a Return Authorization number (RA#) by calling our Customer Service at (800) 522-7014. Please make sure the Return Authorization number is written on the outside of the box you send back to Summer Accents. Returns without an RA# will be refused.
There is a 20% restocking fee on merchandise returned/exchanged for any reason other than a product defect or shipping damage. Any items that are returned without a return authorization will be refused and refund will not be issued.
While Summer Accents includes Free Ground Shipping on all umbrellas at no extra charge, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs tied to the return of the umbrella back to Summer Accents as well as the original shipping costs from Summer Accents to the customer. The umbrella must be returned in its original packaging. Returns of umbrellas without the original box will be denied.
Returns/Exchanges received more than 30 days after we have issued you a return authorization will be denied and not refunded.
ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AS SHIPPED BY SUMMER ACCENTS. ANY ITEMS RETURNED IN PACKAGING OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING WILL BE REFUSED.

- When you order from Summer Accents your credit card information is encrypted and protected with SSL, which is the current industry-standard encryption protocol. We do not collect personal information when you browse.
